Our Wedding Day

Expected arrival time of guests and check-in to the hotel. Check-in is available after 14:00
Taking the bride from a cabin behind the hotel, followed by a traditional bridal horo dancing

Guests will be advised to take their seats or stand around the wedding aisle. There are only 30 seats in the superb forest wedding ritual location.
Outdoor wedding ritual in the forest next to the hotel. Be prepared with a warmer top or a scarf, be aware of your shoes in case of wet weather

Welcome drinks will be served on the hotel's terrace, where the newlywed family will receive congratulations. Guests can take a picture with them and hand over their wedding cards.
A group picture with all the wedding guests will be taken on the hotel's stairs. Please be around not to miss it

Guests will be advised to take their seats in the restaurant. Please check the number of your table at the entrance and take time to enjoy the beautiful wedding decorations
Traditional festive welcoming of the newlywed family in the restaurant. Mothers will feed them pieces of bread dipped in salt and honey. The bride will kick a copper pot with flowers

The wedding party officially starts with a traditional bridal horo dancing. The best man's toast is coming next, followed by more horo dancing and other styles of music. Children will be entertained by animators in the kids' corner near the restaurant entrance
The Wedding party will continue with the first wedding dance, followed by a dance for the parents and a small competition to see who will take a bigger piece of the round bread

Dinner will be served around 19:30, followed by a small dancing pause
The party continues with more dances, fun activities and surprises

The newlyweds will cut the beautiful wedding cake and share the sweet moment with all of you, dear guests
The bride will throw the bouquet, and the groom will throw the garter

Guests will be able to take a breath of fresh air while enjoying a small fire.
The party continues inside the wedding restaurant. Each guest decides when it's their time to leave

Accommodation
Hotel Yastrebets offers luxurious accommodation for our guests. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the mountain surroundings and make the most of this special occasion with a comfortable stay at the hotel.
Our guests are offered a one-night stay free of charge and can check in upon arrival. Couples will be accommodated in a double room, families with kids will be in an apartment with an expandable sleeper sofa for the kids (cots are available for babies). Breakfast is included, starting at 7:30 am. Please note that check out is at 11:00 a.m. the next day. There is a possibility of late checkout if needed.
Transportation
The beautiful Hotel Yastrebets in Borovets is about 1 hour drive from Sofia. Please let us know if you need any assistance to plan your travel.
